Davis Farms Symbology
The foundation of our Logo starts with Metatron's Cube, the two-dimensional geometric figure composed of Thirteen equally sized circles placed around one another touching boundaries at every sixty degree axis. Then, lines from the center of each circle are extended out to the centers of the other twelve circles. Completing Metatron's Cube, the two-dimensional representation of three-dimentional objects.
Traced out within those equal angles, edges and vertices are the polygons that represent the three-dimensional 'polyhedrons', named after the philosopher Plato. Those three-dimensional shapes are known as the Platonic Solids. Plato linked these to the spirit world of heaven and the physical elements here on Earth.
It was said that Metatron's cube contains every shape that exists in the known universe. In fact, we know today the Platonic Solids appear in the make up of every element's molecular structure. Making these shapes truly the building blocks of all physical matter, of everything we see. The dodecahedron was in particular believed to be the ultimate building block of the cosmos.
Further, the round circles or curves are feminine in nature and signify harmony, commitment, safety, continuity and completeness. While squares, rectangles and triangles attribute to the masculine in nature, giving a hard, rigid, and mathematical aspect. Linked to balance, practicality, purpose and rationality. Balancing out the picture as a whole, like the balance of masculine and feminine within each of us as human beings.
One of the most important symbols to the ideology behind Davis Farms is the winged symbol in the center with the two snakes, this is called the Caduceus. It is relatively common in the United States to find the caduceus, with its two snakes and wings, used as a symbol of medicine instead of the correct symbol, the Rod of Asclepius, only having a single snake without any wings.
This usage is erroneous, popularized largely as a result of the adoption of the caduceus as its insignia by the U.S. Army Medical Corps in 1902 at the insistence of a single officer.
The Caduceus is the staff carried by Hermes in Greek mythology and consequently by Hermes Trismegistus in Greco-Egyptian mythology. The oldest known imagery of the Caduceus has its roots in a Mesopotamian origin, with the Sumerian god Ningishzida; whose symbol, a staff with two snakes intertwined around it, dates back to 4000 BC.
As the Greek mythology goes, Hermes saw two serpents entwined in mortal combat. Separating them with his wand he brought about peace between them, and as a result the wand with two serpents came to be seen as a sign of peace. As an extension of its association with Mercury and Hermes, In Roman times to 'Caduce' meant to create a mutually beneficial relationship in business. The Caduceus became a recognized symbol of commerce and negotiation, two realms in which balanced exchange and reciprocity are recognized as ideals for positive commerce.
We currently live by the myth of limited abundance which promotes the idea that in order for me to have more on my own plate, someone else must have less. This is not only false, but this thinking is toxic to our civilization, has contributed to our behavior as a warring populous and placed us on the brink of environmental collapse. To learn to caduce once again can help to remove the base component of greed from our thought processes. We have adopted the opposite in our present day culture and have all become familiarized with the idea that hurting another can be, "Just Business". At Davis Farms we strive to create mutually beneficial relationships in all that we do, including and most importantly our relationship to mother nature. Please join us in spreading this idea of balanced exchange and reciprocity, spread the idea of positive commerce, and practice what it means to caduce.
Cannabis Sativa L. Leaf
Next, at the heart of our operations, and the heart our our logo, a cannabis sativa l. leaf . Represented in geometric balance, showing perfect symmetry with a desire to be in harmony with those polyhedrons and aspects of Metatron's cube. Representing plants as a whole, and a bridge connecting all of these solids together with the elements of the universe. The transmutation of minerals and nutrients into new compounds. Compounds that are symbiotic with our human bodies and endocannabinoid system. This is a reflection to us of the core belief that cannabis as the wisdom plant is connected in some way to the health and evolution of all living things.
Placed inside of the outer circles are the molecular representations of five of the most prominent terpenes found in cannabis.
Terpenes are a large and diverse class of organic compounds produced by a variety of plants, they are most known for producing smells and tastes. Terpenes and terpenoids are the primary constituents to the essential oils of many types of plants and flowers. Essential oil extractions are used widely in traditional medicine and most known today for use as fragrances in perfumery or aromatherapy. Terpenes are amoung the over 500 known compunds within the cannabis plant that all work synergistically together in astonishing ways, ways that we are still trying to wrap our minds around scientifically. Cannabinoids, Terpenes, and the almost innumerable combinations across the expressions of the plant, still have a lot to teach us about both health and well being.
Rising Sun over an Eqyptian Pyramid
Behind the Cannabis leaf lies a completed ancient pyramid with our version of the ‘Eye of Providence’ seen on the back of the United States one dollar bill in the ‘Great Seal’. In place of the over-watching eye, we chose a smaller Metatron’s Cube to symbolize wisdom, knowledge and the collective consciousness radiating and shining a light to all of earth. It is also within these stars and their interactions over time that create all the elements of the universe.
The rising sun above blessing and bestowing us with energy, the pyramids representing and containing the ancient knowledge of our ancestors and the cosmos. The sun continually warming and sustaining life for the organisms of earth, contributing to the growth of plants, and the creation of the natural molecular compounds within.
The combination of the pyramid crowned with this symbol represents further the concept that providence can and should be attained through an evolution of consciousness rather than physical or psychological servitude to gold or monetary wealth. The achievements of mankind, our ingenuity, and the knowledge we accumulate is all best used in harmony with the earth.

All of these components together represent our push towards and our support in a paradigm shift of thinking that is already taking place. We want to embrace and even help guide this shift in consciousness any way we can. This shift is directly correlated with a desire for our children's children to have as good or even a better quality of life than we have. Without this shift towards a more balanced and sustainable thinking, all the money in the world can't save us.
